Buenos Aires 1965
Her work focuses on the conflictive relationship between man and nature. Through aerial photography, her series, “Pampa y Cielo”, delves into floods and droughts in extensive areas of the humid Argentine Pampas. Throughout the exploration of abstract and organic forms, she highlights how human intervention and the force of nature impact on the surface of planet Earth.
She started in photography in 2009 with Inés Miguens. Attended the following workshops: Diego Ortiz Mujica, Julieta Escardo and Juan Brath. She is currently participating in the Ana Sánchez Zinny Workshops.
Her work has been exhibited in Argentina and in the USA. She has participated in exhibitions and fairs at CCBorges, La Usina del Arte, BA Photo and Pinta Miami, among others.
Claudia Leonelli is a member of ENFOCO group, devoted to both the research and reflection of environmental issues.
